Seville Has a Special Colour by Lorena.

During the summer, I had a chance to visit Seville with my friends. Seville is a great city in the south of Spain.
It was my first visit to Seville. We saw some important places of the city. Seville is a very big place. The streets of Seville are full of people.
The first day we saw the Giralda, the Alcazar and the Cathedral which was originally built as a mosque by the Almohads in the late 12th century, and later become the largest Gothic church in the world.
The second day we visited the Barrio Santa Cruz which is very much in character with Seville’s romantic image.
We were going for a walk when my friend broke her leg. So, we had to call an ambulance and we went to the hospital.
I called her parents and they came the following day. Obviously our trip was over. Nevertheless the trip was fantastic.

A Cruise across the Mediterranean. By Erika.

Temple of Athena Niké

When I was 16 years old, I went on a cruise across the Mediterranean with my parents and we stopped in Greece.

On the ship there were lots of things to do. There was a pool where we could relax in the sun, feeling the breeze of the ocean. I could see dolphins and other marine animals. The ship had a lot of shops where I could buy a lot of clothes. It was fantastic! When the sun went down, we could go to the bars and clubs and party until dawn.

When we arrived in Greece, we visited The Acropolis and I thought that it was wonderful!
Definitely what I liked most about Athens was the temple of Athena Niké, which is very small but very beautiful.

When I returned to home I felt sad because I wanted to go back to that wonderful place.

Museums by Lorena

Every country has their own museums to preserve their culture and history. Many museums charge people for admission while others are free. In my personal opinion there are a lot factors with decisive influence on this issue, but I think they should be free.

For me the main reason why we shouldn´t pay to enter a museum is a cultural reason.  Culture should be free for people because they pay their taxes. And lack of money should not be a barrier to learning.
On the other hand free access to museums and art galleries is an investment in the future. For example, tourism is an important sector of our economy and many visitors will be deterred from visiting our country if they think it will be very expensive to visit its great museums and galleries.

In conclusion museums should be free because they increase the culture of people and they are very important for the economy of countries.

My Favorite Bar by Erika

I have never been to O Lugar but this is how I imagine it.
On Saturday nights I usually go out for a drink in Ares.

My favorite bar is called O'lugar de Migui and it is a bar near the street Mazote. This is one of the most famous bars in town because the music is fantastic and the food is superb. O Lugar is surrounded by an outside terrace where you can enjoy a meal, a drink or simply stare at the beach. When the sea is angry O Lugar offers a breathtaking view of the bay.
Sometimes my friends and I go there for a drink. I love Migui, the bar owner, and his brother David, who works there.
O'lugar is a great place because it has two parts and one of them is like a garden, but inside. There are wooden tables and pots with small trees and colorful flowers all over the place.
O'lugar is the best bar in Ares. If you want to have a good time you must visit this place.
