Every country has their own museums to preserve their culture and history.
Many museums charge people for admission while others are free. In my personal
opinion there are a lot factors with decisive influence on this issue, but I
think they should be free.
For me the main reason why we shouldn´t
pay to enter a museum is a cultural reason.
Culture should be free for people because they pay their taxes. And lack
of money should not be a barrier to learning.
On the other hand free access to museums and art galleries is an investment
in the future. For example, tourism is an important sector of our economy and
many visitors will be deterred from visiting our country if they think it will
be very expensive to visit its great museums and galleries.
In conclusion museums should be free because they increase the
culture of people and they are very important for the economy of countries.
